Lakeplay Opens Tomorrow!
A beautiful, shocking, and intimate new play by Drew Valins, Lakeplay opens tomorrow at The Wild Project. We’ve been swimming in this lake for almost a year now, and it is now my great pleasure to invite the audience to jump in too. Tickets Here.
Opening Tonight: Herself
It’s the 25th anniversary year of The Drilling Company and tonight we’re opening the world premiere of Tim McGillicuddy’s play, Herself, starring my fellow Actors’ Gym member, Kathleen Simmons, in the role of, well, Herself. We are part of the 1st Irish Theatre Festival, produced by Origin Theatre Company; come check us out at the Gural Theatre, A.R.T./NY, on W53rd Street. I’m Assistant Director.
An Honor and a Blast!
An Evening with Bobby Moresco and Colin Quinn: Had a GREAT time this evening performing with Colin Quinn, Patty McCormack, Vince Piazza - absolutely brilliant writing by Colin and direction by Bobby; featuring excerpts from Bobby & Colin’s hit Broadway production, An Irish Wake; Dan Lauria hosted the evening produced by Amanda Moresco; a collaboration of The Actors’ Gym and AMT Theater. And a wonderful time was had by all!
Comedy of Errors
Opened Comedy of Errors last night at Shakespeare in the Parking Lot - Good crowd, great weather, tons of fun with a brilliant cast. I’m playing Dromio of Syracuse. Traditionally male roles, our Dromio twins are cast as women, and so I’m playing a man. Mustache and all. Well, almost all. Come on down - we run through July 29th. 7:00 PM at the Clemente Center, 107 Suffolk Street, Lower East Side, NYC. Check the weather and come early to grab a chair, or bring your own. A 25-year tradition. Produced by The Drilling Company.
